Its starting to look very Valentines Day-ish around here. My husband hates Valentines day, and I love love love it, so I'm attempting to keep my Valentines Day enthusiasm at bay, sort of. One of my favorite things about Valentines Day is all the crafts and cards and fun treats I see popping up all over tv, magazines and blog-land. Here are a few I'm wanting to try:

cute little heart pins from the purl bee
leather knot bracelets
crayon hearts
paper heart garland
a valentines table topper patterned like this one
and some hand sewn valentine cards, i'll make those ones up myself. :)

Do you remember ages ago when we were in Rexburg & Logan borrowed some of your scrapbooking scissors to make my valentine of power...all these individually typed/printed/cut/folded pieces of papers telling me why I was fabulous??

He's used the EXACT same idea for the past 3 years now...except now they're just printed off on a plain sheet of computer paper. "Top 100 reasons why I love you". And it was the classic reasons 1-10 and then he skipped to 100. He set a pretty high standard that first year. I thought I was getting myself an amazingly romantic man. Little did I know it was all your idea! haha.

I should direct him to these links....what do you think? haha.

Really, I love this picture of valentine-ish decorations! Love love love it. We should hang out soon! k?

LOL. My husband hates it too. Maybe it is a guy thing. As long as I get my chocolate cover strawberries I am fine.

I have made a couple of those little felt heart pins for the purl bee and they are SO adorable. They are really quick and easy too. You might also look into the heart garland from Alicia Paulson's book Stitched in Time. It easy and cute too. We are usually simple around here for Valentines day, maybe just dinner or flowers and chocolates.
