This was a fun little project the other night when I got in a "new" project mood. They are 4" squares, and a 2.5" border of Minky so it ended up being about 17" square. I layed out my batting, then on top of the batting my backing and top right sides together, stitched around the whole thing leaving an opening, turned it right side out and top stitched and quilted it. I quilted through all the layers, I like the straight stitch quilting on the minky back, it doesn't get loose after its washed. This is a fun little baby gift since it seems to be baby season again!

I need one about 70" x 90" please.
I love how you used the Minky as the border on the front. What a sweet quilt!
I keep wanting to use the minky fabric on a quilt, now maybe a will. This one is so cute. Pink and Greens are my favorite.
This is lovely!
This is lovely!
So, I always have trouble with the minky stretching out of shape when trying to make a blanket out of it. Any hints??
I love those fabrics....and I didn't realize minky came in a chenille-type texture.
What are you going to use this little cutey for?
Found your blog on the sewmamasew forum. It looks great. Mine is a work in progress. Stop by, if you get the chance.
This is really adorable. I like the fabric you used too. Whoever receives this is one lucky baby!
Do you sell any of your products online? They are really beautiful! I am getting married in July and would love to add one to our new home =)
