First off, I finished the quilt back for this quilt. (Sorry bad picture taken with the flash...yuck) I started quilting it, and it makes me want to swear, if it weren't against my religion. I just don't know why I am getting dang puckers while I'm straight stitching with my walking foot. Actually I do know why, the back is just loose, and I am a terrible baster, even though I did this one perfectly I thought. Its not that bad, I'm just cranky from doing it. But on the good side the top looks fabulous, and that's what matters.
Second of all, this Alexander Henry fabric is so cute and springy! And available at Joann's on sale, just be warned that you might have to throw some elbows to get any. Someone had hidden the last bolt at my Joann's, too bad for them I found it.
Third, I am so excited for the Sewing and Quilt Expo in Cleveland in two weeks. My friend Lara asked if I was going the other week and I hadn't even heard about it. So if anyone around Cleveland wants to go, you know where I'll be.
Fourth, this is my quilt for the mountain baby quilt project. Nothing fancy, but its cute, and warm. Also fabric from Joann's which I thought was really cute. Joann's might be catching on.
Fifth- (the last I promise), did you know you can schedule your posts? I'm so excited about this. Sometimes I wonder if all this blogging work is really worth it during weeks when I'm so busy. But, now that I know I can write my posts and schedule them to actually be published in the future, it totally changes things.
Here's how you do it.....
When you are writing you post in blogger, see in the lower left corner post options? Well click on that, change the date and time to when you want the post to be published on your blog, then hit ok and publish post, and you will see a little note at the top of the edit post page telling you that your post is scheduled for so and so day and time. I'm trying it out right now, its really Sunday but it won't post until Monday when I'm probably at Target.
