Camille and Carrie are hosting a “Parade of Quilts”, meaning you have to show your first and last finished quilt. So here goes nothin’:
This was actually my second quilt (this was my first) but it was the first that I basted and quilted myself. (photo skills have definitely improved….yikes) There's a tutorial for this one over on the sidebar.------------>

Here’s my latest finished quilt……for the next hour anyways.
Man I’ve learned a lot since this quilt. But most of all I think I’ve learned to relax a little bit when I’m quilting. It always turns out better if I do. Oh and for the record since I said I’d tell you….I don’t like this gripper thing, it really bugs me. I like having my hand right next to where I’m cutting, and if I lose a finger it was all for a good cause.

Hi Allison ~ Awesome quilts! The first one, the second one and the most recent one. I haven't seen the other 94 but going by these three, I'm sure they're all awesome.
Did you really make 38 quilts in one year? WOW! And I agree with you, the more you relax, the better it goes. And I don't care for those Gripper things either. :)
Thank you for sharing your wonderful quilts!
Allison - I love your orange quilt...what pattern is that and what fabric? LOVE IT!

That's a gorgeous first (second) quilt! And big! Hehe I used to hate orange but I'm really liking it now. Especially paired with aqua / turquoise :)
Love them both!
Oh my gosh!! We can't be blogging friends- THAT was your first quilt? And your second? But they are so great! Hmph.... You were definitely meant to quilt, that's for sure.
Thanks for playing!
Wow, your second quilt is beautiful (and looks huge!). And I adore your latest quilt so much! You should be proud of your work!
Love them all ..
the first-first quilt especially.
Andi :-)
I LOVE the blocks on the first quilt. And of course your most recent quilt is stunning as well!
i love your first (or 2nd) quilt! very impressive. you must have a natural talent for colors and quilts!
I love all 3! This has been a lot of fun...seeing so many first and recent quilts!
I love them both!
Hey, i'm having a fabric giveaway/contest today for designer fabric lovers. Come on over and enter!
I really love the red one! Well, both are great, but I really like the red one!
Wow, Allison, you must be the fastest learner ever. You just jumped in creating beautiful quilts right from the start.
both beautiful! i can't believe that was your first quilt.. that is too good for a first!
Love them both. Each of them are simple but stunning.
My first quilt was nowhere near as good as yours. I love your red one too. I just love red, period, but I also love half-square triangles. Beautiful work.

Unless you are a quilter...people just can't seem to understand that this is relaxing. You do beautiful work.
Beautiful quilts! Thanks for the reminder to relax, too. I have problems with that.
I'm following your blog now...I think the orange quilt tutorial might be just the thing for my next quilt...
Beautiful! I love all the ones you shared with us. Have a great day.
All of your quilts are amazing. I'm especially fond of the red one, though! Love the little half-square triangles.
Wow, I can't decide which I love more! They are all beautiful but that red really stands out, doesn't it?
We're all in awe. I love both of the quilts you showed and even your first quilt. You started off on the right foot! I love your sense of color and prints. Very cute. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my gosh, your first and latest are both awesome quilts. You can forget the gripper, but please watch your fingers. You don't want to add blood stain removal to your quilting skills!
Classic and beautiful!!
Both quilts are absolutely amazing!
For the record I don't like the gripper thing either ~ I think it is a racket! But I love your quilts, so glad I found you. Truly inspiring.
