Since you’ve already seen all my quilts and are probably sick of them I wasn’t going to join this Quilt Festival….but alas I can’t help it, so here goes. :) I’ve had this quilt on my mind the last few weeks. Its probably my favorite quilt I’ve made to date, and the only of my large quilts that I didn’t keep. Sigh.
Hopefully soon I’ll get the gusto to make another one, because I really love those hourglasses!
Now grab yourself some snacks and hop on over to Amy’s blog and see all the entries in the Quilt Festival.

So glad you decided to join in cuz I don't remember seeing this one before! I love those hourglasses too. And I love the fabric colors, and that backing is awesome too. Great quilt! You should definitely make another one to keep, in your "spare" time.
This is great! I love it and love the colors. Thanks for sharing. I took a look at the rest of your blog and just love your work! Thanks, Stephanie
I love it, too. It's so striking.
Red and aqua - what a combination! I love the hourglass block too, and also how it looks like a pinwheel if you stand back. Very clever!
It is beautiful!
Beautiful Allison! Love the hour glass pattern and the great choice of fabrics.
Lovely quilt, great colors. Definitely make this one again, this time to keep.

This is beautiful! I love the red and aqua combination. I really want to make an hourglass quilt, I already have fabric to make one and I haven't even finished my first quilt yet!
Love the fabric choices, esp. the backing!
I love your quilt! Great color combo!
My favourite colours!
It is a beauty, no wonder you miss it!
What a cheery quilt! Allison, you are sooooo inspiring! Keep it up!
Beautiful quilt! I'm sure it was hard to part with!
I am so glad you entered, and I am SO glad you posted this quilt. Ironically, out of all the quilts/quilters I've been stalking, this has always been in my top 5 :)
I too love the hourglass blocks, they work up quickly and look great in any colour combo!
Oh, that's so beautiful- love the colors!
Beautiful quilt - I love the colours and the "crinkliness" of the quilting.
I love it--every little piece. such happy colors, such perfect little points. Wow!
I just love the colours in this quilt! So happy! Inspiring.

Beautiful!
Really pretty quilt. I love the colors, fabric and pattern. I can see why you miss it. Thanks for sharing.
It's always 'the one that got away' that keeps tuggin' at our hearts. I keep seeing this combination over the last few days......red and turquoise. I never would have done it in a quilt, and yet Southwestern jewelry is full of turquoise and red coral combos !
Congrats on a wonderful quilt......I'm sure it's much loved !
It's hard to part with them when so much love goes into giving "birth" to a quilt! (At least that's what my quilt group calls it when you take your brand new quilt out of the dryer for the very first time...) Hopefully it went to a good home! :D
Love the hour glass pattern too, and your colors are yummy! (thanks for your visit to my blog too!)
Cute quilt, thanks for participating.
Great fabrics and a wonderful quilt.
Love that border/backing fabric!
glad you decided to participate...it's beautiful...it's funny..i have trouble seeing the hourglasses...all i see is pinwheels. weird how the brain works...which ever way i look at it...it love it!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I love the hourglass blocks and the colours. Right now I am doing a red and aqua block swap.
