Amy’s hosting a quilt festival again…Check out the fabulous entries here!

No surprise this is one of my favorite quilts. Both of my boys quilts are my favorite. This one was made for my second son Ryan with leftover fabric from his older brother’s quilt. I wanted something similar to Ben’s quilt since they were going to share a room, but nothing too matchy matchy. After I decided on circles, the pattern came together in my head and lucky for me went together smoothly. This is the only rag edge quilt I’ve ever done, I’m not a fan of rag quilts but I love the way the circles pop against the square backgrounds. This quilt makes me happy, which is exactly the point of making it. :) The free pattern for this quilt is here.

As with all your stuff, these are just too too fabulous.
I love geometric patterns. This is perfect.
oh - I love these quilts - that circle one is on my list...just need to find the fabric combo i want to use...
Love that circle quilt, I think the raw edges are great!
It's taken me a while to feel the circles, but this has finally done me in. I heart circles!
I was strolling through your blog the other day and fell in love with this quilt. Love everything about it.
What lovely colors!

oh my goodness!!!
I thought the quilt was super cool (especially with the circles popping out against the rectangles)...but then I saw it in the baby's room. That room is amazing! Would it be weird if I made my grownup bedroom look just like this room? I love the grey with the pops of color and that striking white quilt.
I love them both but I have to make that circle one. It's adorable!!
Lovely :) the colours are magic!!
Love the squares AND the circles - such a great way to have quilts that complement each other without matching. I'm definitely filing this away on my "Must Make" list.
Wow, I just love this quilt, and the garland above the boys beds. Beautiful and inspiring. I'm definitely bookmarking this to make one day! I love your blog!
It's gorgeous! Those raw edges really do it for me, and the offset circles in squares. I love how it looks in action in your son's room.
I love everything you make!! I see Pez fabric again! :)
Oh my goodness! I love both of those quilts! The colors are perfect. Usually when I think of colors for a boy quilt I think BORING, but that quilt is anything but!
Thanks for the pattern! I just might have to make one. :)

Love that quilt! It's the one I chose for my month of the quilting bee I'm a part of. :)
I love the square quilt in the room. Did you use a pattern for that or just an idea you came up with? I would love to make one like it.
Thanks

I **love** the circles!
These quilts make me smile. : ) Thanks for sharing both of them!
I'm about half way through one of these quilts, completely inspired by you of course when I saw it a few months ago.
I love your quilt!
I LOVE both of them!
Great quilt! I love the colors and the circles "popping" is wonderful!
Brother's quilt is great too!
Love these quilts! So bright and colorful! :)
Both these quilts are gorgeous - I love the colors! I'm scared of curves so maybe a raggy circle like this is a place to start... thanks for the inspiration :)
both quilts are wonderful. The colors are so nice and pleasing to the eye.
You know, I'm not usually a fan of raw edge quilts either, but I really like how it adds dimension to those circles
Love the primary colors and the patterns! The boys have such a simply sweet room...*love* it!
Loved it before, still love it now! It's amazing how that inexpensive garland really brightens up the room, isn't it?
This Quilt has been a Favorite of mine too, It's on my list of Quilts to make!
oh, I love both of those quilts, such great colors!! I don't normally put any of my crafty stuff on my blog but this time decided what the heck, so, I put up my most recent project! Thanks for sharing!!
I'm so glad you chose this quilt. I smile every time I see it.
Both the quilts are beautiful - love the cheerful colors.

both quilts are stunning. And I love how they sparkle against the blue walls.
Both of the quilts are gorgeous one has more texture and I agree they are one of the best.
The materials you picked makes it so beautiful.
You have two very lucky boys
Both quilts are just gorgeous, great boys quilts which are so hard to get just right yet still tasteful! I am making a particularly ugly one for my son - he chose the fabric and I am not inspired!
What a fun boys room! Your quilts are an inspiration. Can't pick a favorite of the two as I really like them both. Great use of color!
this is so amazing. i love it!!!
What a great way to add circles! I like the raw edge idea, simple and fun. The quilts coordinate wonderfully! Thank you for sharing this quilt's story :)
They are both so beautiful!
I love both quilts! Just wonderful!
i love both quilts and you had a really great idea to match them without being too matchy-matchy :)
It's a beautiful quilt, I love the random circular quilting on it! :O)
Love the circle pattern and the colours in the quilt, gorgeous!
I love seeing everyone's favorite quilts! I also had to mention my 5-month-old little boy is named Ben. His quilt isn't quite done yet but what's funny is that it is a raw edge circle quilt!
I can't decide which one I love most - both your quilts for your boys are so pretty. I am a big fan of Sandy Klops fabric, and love the way you have showcased them...
These are such happy quilts! Love the raw egde circles - great texture!
I did the same with my girls quilts! Most of the same fabric, but different designs. :)
Love the mix of fabrics on both the quilts pictured. Those circles really do stand out because of the raw edges. Very clever to have two quilts that go together but not at all the same. Inspiring!
I have always loved this quilt. Circles scare me, but they seem so approachable in this method. Beautiful job as always, you are such an inspiration to this community :)
I love Ben's quilt, and I really like the circles quilt, too. But, like you, I'm not too much a fan of ragged edge either. I think if I made a circles quilt I would have to button-hole stitch around them all just to make for a smoother quilt. Your colors are magnificent!! Great festival entries!
Wonderful quilt! You always have the most amazing quilts.
It's so great and bold.
Beautiful. I never thought of doing a Bull's Eye with contemporary fabrics. It is so striking!
Both of these quilts are gorgeous. I just love them. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Love the quilt. I'm not usually a fan of rag edges, but these circles are just so dang cute.
I love both of these!!! I could not pick a favorite...you can see my entry HERE.
all your quilts are so bright & cheerful!! great blog too :) http://erinlebeau.blogspot.com/
AMAZING! I love how "happy" they are!
Wow! WOW! WOW!! That quilt is AMAZING!! And you made the pattern?!! You are so talented! It turned out so stunning! And I love how the boys quilts match but are not matchy matchy! They are certainly treasures. I'm about to start my first ragged edge quilt. I can only hope it turns out as well as yours!!
Such a yummy, yummy quilt. Love the fabrics. Note sure about the raggy edge thing either as I worry about durability. However those circles do look great done as raw edge.
like the colors in the quilts. and two different designs is nice to see together
Both of the quilts are so delightfully scrappy! I'll admit to being especially partial to quilts with curves though. I'm cutting for a new Drunkard's Path myself, so it was a real joy to see your ragged edge circles. The circles do indeed "pop".
Wow 2 terrific quilts. I really like how they work together without being carbon copies. I'm not big on raw edge but it definitely makes it dimensional and interesting.
