I scored this coffee table at a garage sale before we moved for $2.00. I was extra nice and even paid asking price. :)
After sanding and paint it looks MUCH better! I bet they they wouldn’t sell it to me now for $2.oo.
The green color is KILZ spray paint (from Walmart or Home Depot) color Hosta Leaf. The white is extra paint I had from the buffet.
And just so you don’t go thinking my house is EVER really that tidy….this is what the table looked like after the boys came home 5 minutes later.
Now that’s more like it.

Love it! I have a few "redo" projects on hold...I think I am now inspired! Good score, and good job!
Great redo. I love the colour you chose, it's beautiful!
Excellent! I wouldn't have seen the potential in that, but way to go!
Love it! Can't beat that for $2
This is a fabulous redo!! LOVE that green color! Thanks for sharing your fab find:)
Great eye for seeing the potential on that one!
Boy...what a great job! And the after picture of real life is so cute!
so cute!
(and I'm glad I'm not the only one whose life looks that way).
I love that yellow pillow! Did you make it?
I love it! Great job!
Gorgeous!! I love re-dos!! Well done!

Great re-do. Love that color of green. Thanks for sharing the "real world" photo, too. Nice to know I'm not the only one who has to "clean up" before every photo I take. You rock!
Wow, nice job!
Great job!!!! I love a good thrift!!
Blessings,
KT
I love it! I haven't refinished furniture since last summer and now you've inspired me to start on it again!
Looks great! Definitely worth more than $2 - wow that was a score!
this is great...you are motivating me to get some of my painting projects done
Oh, my gosh! That looks 100% better. I think I have the matching end table ;) Is the top of it sort of a papery or cardboardish material?? If so, how did you go about sanding and refinishing the top. I really want to do it to my end table, but I don't know what to do.
SCORE! looks good.
It looks great! You are awesome!
Looks fantastic. Tag sale finds are the best. Love that color. I never think of spray painting, I seem to gravitate to the bucket and brush, but then I'm not always happy with the brush strokes - I may have to try some spray painting next time. Lovely table.
oh man, why can't i ever find gems like that?
Great job. It is really nice!
HAHAHAHA...Just like Jemm above, I too have a matching end table to this! I painted mine black a couple months ago and blogged about it:) This looks great. And I think I recognize your rosette pillow(yellow) in the background. Did you get it at Target?
I love what you did to the table. That green is so nice. (I am a bit partial to green!)
What a great find! Love the green color!
You are the refinishing queen! Awesome find and beautiful paint work!
Wow. Great find for only $2! And your redo made it look just beautiful. Great job!! Wouldn't you just love to go back to some of those sales with a picture and show them what they could have done to their table? LOL
Just like my coffee table, full of odds and ends.
Your project came out awesome! It's just like new :oD
Oh my goodness....what a transformation....very sweet! Love the green....mental note to self, remember the name which actually means to write it down now!!
Love it!
LOVE. GREAT price on that table! Way to go!
Wow! Wonderful job! Love your color choices. Very elegant.
Very pretty, no one will belive its a two dollar table. Love your after the kids come home shot, I think most of us can relate to your situation.
Sensational re-do on your table....Thanks for sharing the "reality" photo....Somehow I feel a little better about how most of the horizontal surfaces in my house look.
Susan
HOLY WOW! You and your finds....
I love it! I've seen plenty of coffee tables like that on my garage sale adventures this summer and just passed them by. After seeing what one could look like I may not pass the next one by. Hope I get as lucky on the price. Absolutely adorable!!
Glad to see more of your before and after painted projects! I just started my paint redo's for the summer last weekend.
That table looks great! You are so wonderful with the reno projects!
Hope you feel better soon!
Great find--it looks GREAT with the paint!
That is so cool! I wish I could see things like that and see the "after" in my mind!
Fantastic! LOVE it. So inspiring. Love the basket underneath too!
So cute. But I need more details please! Did you sand or prime or just spray? What about the top? Did you sand, prime, spray or paint with regular paint? Now that' it's 6 months old, how is the top holding up? Chips and paint coming off or still nice?
I'm getting ready to redo some furniture and I'm searching for some how tos!
Thanks!!!
