Nicey Jane Table Cloth

IMG_5189

Last week I made a  table cloth with Nicey Jane laminated cotton purchased here.  Its SO nice that it wipes clean, it might be the only table cloth to actually stay on my table and not in the washing machine.  The laminated cottons are expensive, but I like the drape a lot and luckily my table is small (and it was a gift…thanks Mom!)  I bound it in a matching cotton stripe using my walking foot.

Now back to the slippin’ slide for me!  Well…not really me…the kids.  It makes my knees ache just watching them.  Oh to be a kid (and short) again!

Love the laminated fabric too. I've made a couple of diaper bags for my girls and they love that they can wipe them clean and have coordinating changing pads. Your tablecloth is such a pretty and functional idea. Thanks!

LOVELY! So fresh and summery. My table is wayyyy to big for that to be affordable. ;)
Although....it would be nice on my deck table! Hmmmmm

Well I am short, but I don't think I will try it either...it makes more than my knees hurt thinking about it, but that picture makes me giggle to watch him! What a cutie!

Love this idea! Is it laminated on both sides and do you wash it as normal in a machine? Love the fabirc design too. (I'm such an amateur- I've never heard of a walking foot, nor do I even know what it does!) Very pretty :)

I just stumbled upon your site and I am absolutely in love with your style! I love to sew, but have never made a quilt. You have inspired me! Thanks! I love the raw-edge circle quilt.

I need a new table cloth. I like that you can wipe it down, and that it looks amazing.

love it!!! the striped binding is a nice touch to the edge of that beautiful fabric! i'd probably steal your idea, but my table is huge.

can I ask what size is your table and how many yards of the fabric did you use for this?
