Thanks for all the pattern love….and the me-being-a-hermit understanding. :)
I’ll share more about the quilts in the next few posts, but for now I wanted to share the button on my sidebar that looks like this:
If you click on it you can download the PDF that includes my how-to tutorials for basting, quilting, and binding. Its long….sorry about that…and I kind of ramble….and I didn’t edit it or anything so don’t expect any all star quality. Its the same one I try to include with the PDF patterns. Mainly this is an attempt to answer 96% of the emails I get daily. Hopefully it will help some of the many beginning quilters out there take the next step and FINISH THAT QUILT! Enjoy!

Thanks! Just love your blog. I look forward to seeing your finished quilts!
Thank you for making that available. Hopefully it will help with your email load!
thank you thank you! that's exactly what I need...I just finished a quilt (2 days ago...) and I'll venture on batting and binding. It's my first real big quilt and I want to make sure I get it right.
I read the tutorial and it was very thorough! Good job...it will be appreciated by the newbie quilters ;-)
Wow, I am but that took some time. Thank you. Your quilts really are just beautiful. I love your patterns, your choices in fabric. You are fabulous.
I have a question: Do you have a "design wall" and what kind of fabric is generally used to make a design wall???
uau, thanks a lot!!

Thank you, that is really helpful. I hope that with practice my quilts will look as nicely finished as yours.
This is great! I have been having issues with my basting, so it was good to get some new ideas. Also, I am just venturing into free motion, so that section was especially useful to me. Thanks, Allison!
Thank you so much for answering my plea for help in how to make a quilt sandwich! You will happy to know that I successfully pin basted my quilt this week and I am happily stitching along. However I am unable to move my legs due to the time spent on the tile floor kneeling on pins:(
