My Mom was visiting last week….which meant sewing….lots of sewing. We whipped up this all flannel quilt top using this tutorial (except we cut the squares 9", and the corner squares 2 1/2"). I’m not sure what all those fabrics are, but I know the majority of them are Riley Blake flannels. This is one snuggly quilt!
Oh and this little guy got his first tooth last week….the problem is now he bites and it HURTS!

so cute! I love the Riley blake prints
Love the Christmassy prints. I remember Tiddler getting teeth and boy did I know about it at feeding time. He's just given up on the breast feeding (16 months old) and I'm one happy mama - though sad to see the end of his baby days.
I got lucky, my son didn't get any teeth until he was 13 months old. My daughter got her first teeth at eight months old, the week after I was done nursing. Good luck:) Cute quilt top!
Same thing goes for me when my mum comes we sew, sew, sew and laugh and have so much fun!! Love the quilt the backgrounds are perfect. Little guy looks happy with his new tooth:)

So cute, I just came across a huge FQ stack of Christmas from a few years back, now I know what to do with it!
What a cutie! The quilt's nice, too :) Love that pattern.
Oh yeah, my son currently has 3 bottom, 4 top and two molars on one side with no molars on the other.....I've gotten bitten a couple of times!! Holy Moly!! Now when it looks like he's going to bite I just say, "Don't bite" and he won't. I'm gonna tell though, when he was getting in his first molar, the gum looked like a lil flap, so me, being a new mom, went to the dr. and she said it looked like he may have scratched his gum, since he's always putting his fingers in his mouth. But she said to look for any puss in the next couple of days to make sure it's not infected. So a day goes by and there is this huge white thing (I swore it was a puss pocket) on his gum, so again, back to the doctor. Turns out it was his tooth coming in. Holy Crap!! Wait til you see how big a baby molar is! There are huge...you will not believe that a molar that big is in the little mouth...okay, sorry for the novel....good luck with all the other teeth that will eventually come in...xoxoxox
what a great quilt! and that little guy of yours is a charmer, for sure. even if he bites :)

Cute quilt. Wow, I wish my mother sewed, so we could sew together. How fun!
How sweet!! Quilt and baby! That is a great pattern to show oof those great Riley Blake fabrics!....hmmm..I might just have to make me some snowballs!
Adorable, cute, adorable!! Both photos!
That child is VERY cute ... I remember those bites ..ouch!!
From memory I just removed the source of food & screamed in pain .
It seemed to work.
Quilt is nice too .
Oh my goodness - Christmas already! I feel behind....
Sorry for the biting - we're in a similar place right now. My little Phoebe is getting some molars and likes to relieve the pressure by biting - me! Nobody else - just me.
Super cute!! and so is the quilt.

Cute little guy. My six-month old got his first tooth last week, too. And, we have the same Old Navy outfit. Luckily, we live in different states!
He is a cutie patootie!! Love your snuggly quilt...I need one of flannel!
Ouch! Is he biting when nursing? Fight the instinct to pull him away, instead, push him towards you. This ever so slightly smothers them and they pull off on their own. And most rarely do it again.
This is so cute! I love the Riley Blake fabrics! So colorful.
You shouldn't show beautiful quilts along with a pic of that adorable little man. The quilt pales in comparison to that sweet face and smile.
i just want to snuggle in a flannel quilt now.
I love this snowball quilt ... very festive!
Cute little guy too!!
Snowball would be a good pattern to use for my ever growing group of Charm Squares. Think I will try it, thank you for the idea. I can't believe you made your first quilt just two years ago---you have accomplished a lot! BettyLou
I love the fact that you and your mom quilt together! My mom is great but doesn't sew, not even a little bit. ;)
What a cute little guy!
Not sure which picture I like best. The quilt is lovely, but the kids smile... to die for!
How cute would that little one be wrapped up in that snuggly flannel quilt!!! He's adorable and those eyes!! Like a crystal blue sky!
Oh my oh my! That is one beautiful colorful quilt there! Love it and love those beautiful blue blue eyes. So handsome!
My 4-year old son just came and said "Mom, look at this cute baby!" I said, "it looks like he just got a new tooth." And my son said "OH COOL!"

It's fun to see this quilt because I just finished my first quilt using the same christmas squares! So it's fun to see them used in a different way.
(Side note: Your quilt is much more complex :) haha)
