20 minutes? I don't I've ever done it that fast solo! I keep wondering why everyone quilts so much more than me...maybe I'm just realllllllly slowwwwwwwww. ;-)
I feel you, girl. This is why I wait until my three munchkins are in bed. However, maybe that's why I never get to bed early...it's prime quilting time and I can't stop.
I applaud all of you quilters with children...oh my, I don't know how you get anything done! I suppose I was fairly productive when mine were young but it was not easy. And I agree, it was totally worth every minute!
How do you baste on the carpet!? I have all carpet so I take my quilts to work to baste them on the tile floor or to my neighbor's hardwoods... I feel stupid, but I would REALLY like to know an effective way to baste on carpet!
I miss that type of interruption! Sometimes my 6 year old will interrupt for a hug, just to let me know he is still alive :) That's when I realize it has been hours since I took a break.
I can't believe how big he is! I once had a potty- training kid gleefully sit on a newly finished quilt I spread on the floor, only to suddenly 'overflow'. The life of a mother is never dull. :)
oh that's funny! I thought, from the previous post and picture, that it was a little wall hanging quilt! LOL I like it much better full size, with a baby! :)
Have you ever tried basting with the spray adhesive? I'm probably not telling you something you don't already know, but I baste my quilts that way, and it takes less than 10 min.

So sweet! There will be feet running across before you know it.

Cutest. Disruption. Ever.
I agree... I can't do it in 20 minutes with or without a baby! You must have some speed tricks you should be sharing!
Aaaahhhh, but would you have it any other way?

Everything takes about 10 times longer with children in tow...but it is worth every minute.

super cute! maybe tomorrow during naptime....:)
i do my basting while the kids take their nap, but that still doesn't stop the dogs from walking all over it or laying down when I turn my back.
children or pets, you gotta love 'em!

Your quilt is even cuter with a baby on it!
What a great photo! Oh how I miss those days!
OMG How cute is that! I love it when the kids help. Great photo.
cathy
I have a "helpful" 4 yr old. What is it about fabric that is laying out on the floor that says "run over me?" Haven't figured it out yet...
That's so funny! And so true.
Sweet!
