A knock-off art holder

IMG_69031

I saw this cute yardstick artwork holder and decided to make it for my son’s room. Except mine is the knock-off version of hers. Seriously…I used small clothes pins, spray painted them, stuck them on to the yardstick with gorilla glue, staple gunned a small hanging tab on the back of each end, and hung it on the wall. Luckily it works just fine and it only cost me $2.75. Back to the kitchen I go!!!!!!

I love it! My 6 year old gets mad at me when I throw away his school work and this is a perfect solution. Thanks for the inspriation.

That would be great for a sewing studio, too! Ooo ... you could glue magnets on the back so it would stick to the refrigerator. Thanks for sharing the idea with us. =)

Cute! We made these in our moms group last year, but we used the cheap 12" rulers and three clothes pins. My daughter loves hanging her art on it.:-)

It turned out so good! Not bad for $2.75. I think I need one for my sewing room.

Gosh - I so love this! Simple enough to do two, one for each of my kids - AND it can be personalized for them. Perfect!
