Tuesday is usually stay-in-pajamas-and-hope-nobody-knocks-on-the-door day. Today is no exception. I’m hoping I’ll get to this pretty stack on my table:
And figure out something to do with all these tiny triangles that won’t make me want to poke out my eyeballs.
Maybe I’ll even change out of my pajamas, put a bag on my head (I have a cold sore the size of a golf ball) and go to you-know-where.
Speaking of that….Target has some great free Christmas music you can download here…we’ve been boogying to Electric Santa.

Today someone knocked on my door earlier than I ever change out of pajamas. Ugh! Enjoy your triangles!
Cute triangles. They would make a cute ticker tape quilt . . . I saw it on "crazy mom quilts" blogspot. Seems like a non-poke-your-eyes-out kind of triangle project. Enjoy.
Those tiny triangles are screaming "BUNTING" to me :) Enjoy your day!
i would make something like this with those triangles :

Good luck with the teeny triangles! I don't mind people knocking on the door before I've changed out of my PJs, but it can be a bit embarrassing when it's at 3pm...
ahhh, target, my favorite store.....
oh goodness, pajama days AND a love affair with Target?? you are officially my kindred spirit!
I love the idea of a not get out of my pjs type of day. I might have to try that in coming weeks!
Its rare that I have an all day pj day but it never fails that when I do, people will show up like Im giving out free money. Its always so frustrating!
It's been that kind of day for me today and yesterday. It's not how I am normally, but I've been ordered to stay off my feet by my doctor. If I can't get out of bed, why get out of my pajamas????
I've been in my pj's all day, too. Normally I don't have visitors, and the one I day I stay in pjs an electrician shows up. LOL luckily it was early enough that when he asked me if he woke me up I just said yes. I know, bad bad, but oh well. :)
Tuesdays are always a wash here too, not sure why. I intentionally don't plan d's appts, car repairs, etc. on Tuesdays because my superstitious self assumes we'll only get bad news on a Tuesday.
Cold sore - ask your doctor or dentist to call in a prescription for Denavir cream. It's a miracle worker! It works best when put on as soon as you feel the tingle, but it will still help kill the ickies now. And you'll have it for next time! Teeeny-tiiiiny tube, but you just need a little dab each time.
Oh, and I'd love a pj day... I'm thinking Friday might be one!
I know what you mean about the triangles. I had triangles from flea market fancy that I couldn't throw away because, duh, they are flea market fancy! Anyhoo, I started to sew them together. And it DID make me want to poke my eyeballs out. I'm thinking of sewing them to greeting cards in a string, you know, like bunting. Someone sent me one and it was super cute. Hope you feel better soon!
LOOK at that CUTIE!!! :) Those eyes! That hair! Kiss him on both cheeks for me. :)
Have fun with your triangles!
Genevieve
You are so darn funny! I feel ya on the cold sore part...I've tried abreva and haven't been a fan. anything good work for you?
" and hope no body knocks on the door " ... I love it!!
I want a day like yours. :o) Maybe I will hang a sign that reads "still in jammies, knock at your own risk".
Sincerely - Trish
hey, why don't you sew all those tiny triangles together? just sew near the edge of one of their three sides, and as soon as you're at the end of one, add another. keep the thread continuous, and it'll make a tiny garland of sorts. great for decorating a tree, or wrapping many times around a wreath to make a ragamuffin look. or you could pin it to the wall with straight pins for more Christmas decor.
I don't know the size of your triangles but here's an idea I came across & love! http://quiltstory.blogspot.com/2010/11/hst-quilt-tutorial-part-2.html
I was hoping to stay in today as well....lots of sewing projects for me to accomplish!
Happy sewing in pj's day!
That's exactly how our tuesdays are! Except for I don't have a pile of super cute fabrics to play with. :) I have super cute fabrics that I SHOULD be playing with. I can't wait to see what you do with those triangles.
ohhh, is it the trees from purl bee little forest quilt (http://www.purlbee.com/little-forest-quilt/)...yes? I just finished some!
I wish every day could be a stay in PJ's and hope the door bell doesn't ring day.
I should get more sewing done when I'm in my Pj's it just sounds so relaxing.
Wait! What? You mean we're supposed to get dressed EVERY day? Huh? Hey! I missed the memo. Darn.
Thanks for the heads up on the Target music. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the song "Mrs Claus Ain't Got Nothin on Me" and when I hear that commercial I stop everything just to listen. YAY NOW I have it saved to my computer. Wheeeeeee
