After a day of Go-Go-Go-ing I love to sit and have some mindless sewing time. No planning or pre-cutting or over thinking allowed. Here are some of the blocks from last night’s mindless sewing spree:
Beats me what I’ll do with them. Hopefully they’ll make their way into a baby quilt after I finish all of my projects that require planning and pre-cutting and over thinking.
Oh and the winner of the Burgundy Buttons Giveaway is #311, Melody-Simple Life in Georgia. I just left a comment on your blog Melody. :)

amazing..I am all about the mindless sewing
I love that babushka print! I have a yard of it stashed, but with a white background... looks lovely with the bright sugary colours!
How do you do that? You make it look "SEW EASY!"
Have a great week!

Jealous of your mindless sewing time! I don't really get any of that. Maybe someday.
Mindless sewing turned out beautifully! That would be a nice break from the Single Girl quiltalong, which is anything but mindless! For me at least...
I might just have to try mindless sewing~those are beautiful!
Lovely fabrics and colours , dee x
If that is what you do when you are mindless, I say go there permanently :D
Really lovely! :)
My mindless sewing never looks as good as that!
I think they will make a Lovely Babies Quilt.
cheers
great blocks and they will make a fantastic baby's quilt, well done.
Awesome, reminds me of a quilt I made that I love, but the squares were all the same size, think I will try it your way,so neat!
Very cute. I never think of doing random things like this, just to have on hand. Great idea!
Like so many other comments, my mindless sewing never looks like those blocks. I made another bag today, the Maui Bag by Pat Bravo but with a Alexander Henry print Mocca in white. Thank you for being my favorite blog.
Love the colors you used for your "mindless sewing spree". Even when not over-thinking it, you have a great eye for color!!!
Great mindless sewing. That would be structured for me....am still afraid to just "throw things together". Love the middle fabric!
Love the colors of these blocks. It would be so pretty in a baby quilt.
Thank you so much for the Burgundy Buttons gift certificate. I will sure put it to good use. I have so many projects in mind!
