Last night I started round 2 of humanitarian quilts. My hands are sore from cutting these stacks into kits and quilt backs…but it makes my heart so happy to know that these quilts will help people rebuild their lives. You’ve sent me so much beautiful fabric (and amazing quilt tops!) so thank you again. These kits are going to super talented ladies to sew up and we’ll get them finished this month and sent overseas. Back to cutting I go!

Allison, want any help cutting? I'd be happy to come over any time this week. It get me out of the week and feel like I'm doing something. Just call or email me and I'll be there.
PS - I can bring my own mat and rotary blade.
Wow what an amazing amount of fabric! And I just want to say thank you for being willing to undertake this project!
Amazing!! I give you a lot of credit for doing this - I know how time consuming these things can be!
My hands are tired and sore too doing the same thing. My kitchen is stacked with fabric and piles making kits for humanitarian. Great minds think alike!

Oh my, what a fabulous stack of fabric for such a good cause!! Projects like this make me happy. Totally jealous, though...my friend and I just started a local chapter of Quilts for Kids and our fabric stash is much smaller. Can't wait until it becomes that big!
You must be growing wings...Angel/Fairy ones...!
What a large undertaking...what a great person to do it!!

Since cutting is absolutely my least favorite part of quilt making, I can only assume you're on the fast track to sainthood lol! Wonderful work you are doing...

So fantastic! I second Trish. I'd love to help but I have a feeling we live at opposite ends of the earth :0)
amazing! The goal is to start a very simple quilt or two with my boys (it will be tied, not quilted) for the Humanitarian Center this month. There is such a great need, those quilts will bless so many.
