…NOTHING.
I’m a master at doing semi-nothing. I did finish a couple small sewing projects…but other than that we had a mighty slow week. We did manage to make and paint a birdhouse…
(I said smile!!!!)
and picked huge bunches of lilacs on our walks.
I even got these bound….the perfect project for semi- nothing-dooer like myself.
Luckily after a good long week of semi-nothing I’m feeling like I need to do something. Which is good because this blog was about to get real boring if not!

Beautiful flowers! And it's totally fine to do nothing for a while. You deserve it. :) Looking so forward to meeting you at the Sewing Summit!
ha ha ha! good job! do nothing for as long as you can stand it!
that kid is AWESOME!!! Love the flowers and bindings too!
hehe, I hear ya. I've been doing a lot of not much lately. Luckily I've gotten to spend some time making a few things over the weekend. :)
I love doing nothing, I am binding a quilt currently it is sitting on my lap and watching Cary Grant movies.
Your blog is never boring, your colors fill the screen with joy even if you don't publish anything. Thanks for "doing nothing" and sharing it with us
Yummy lilac photos and sometimes relaxation is what we need;) Thanks for the reminder!
Looks like you did a lot. Making memories for your son is no small thing!
I wish lilacs grew here. They're beautiful!
nothing is sometimes the most wonderful thing to do!
sounds good to me! i had a pretty nice lazy weekend too (filled with finishing projects and being lazy in between).
awwhh I love nothing days. That is partly my plan for summer break. Well that and a whole bunch of something :)
Hehehe! Gotta love those kind of days. Enjoy!!
Sometimes nothing is the best kind of something. Especially a busy mama like yourself with two growing boys and a hubby. Enjoy. And don't feel even the slightest bit guilty :)
Sometime not doing anything is a good thing-----it recharges you batteries--------consider your batteries re-charged. Hugs
everyone needs to slow down sometimes
beautiful lilacs! and you got an awful lot done in the midst of doing nothing. :)
Your nothing makes my something look lazy.
Thats a lot of results from doing nothing, sometimes I run round all day like a headless chicken and don't accomplish that much
You call that nothing?
I'll show you 'nothing'!
I've done nothing (craft wise) in weeks!
Check the blog. You'll see!!

I love the way you consider binding two quilts, doing nothing. I consider it a major feat!
I'm with Kathleen - you should see what my "nothing" looks like... My sewing machine has dust on it - I've had three quilts "on the go" for months now and keep making terrible excuses as to why I haven't finished them! I like your nothing better :-)

My kind of gal....although my semi-nothing has gotten away with me....need to be inspired again.
Doing semi-nothing for a while is good for the soul! Recharges the batteries! Those are beautiful lilacs!
The expression on his face is priceless. Don't worry about the "nothing" thing... when you get going on "something", you'll be recharged!
Love the lilacs. I live in the South, but grew up in the Northwest, and I really miss them. The picture is so beautiful, I can almost smell their fragrance, if I try hard enough. Thanks!
