From a stack

I love how a stack of this…

IMG_9376

can be transformed into this:

IMG_9384

It’s amazing how much I like cutting up fabric and sewing it back together again.   This one was inspired by a photo of tile in Sevilla, Spain….where I met my husband.  :)  The fabric stack above is from my fat quarter bundle at the Fat Quarter Shop.

Oh my, that is gorgeous! What a pretty design!

And I'm with you. Sometimes I just marvel at how I take this one stack of fabrics, chop it up, sew it together (and then maybe chop it and sew it again), and it becomes a quilt. So cool.

This is beautiful! You must have a way with numbers to see a pattern and then cut the right size pieces of fabric to make it work. Impressive.

love the transformation ~ I was always amazed how I could take a flat piece of fabric and make into something I could wear or keep warm with. Feel the same about yarn. Amazes me every time!
