I’ve spent this week (at least half of it) getting back in the groove. Schedules, school, exercising, cleaning routines, pre-planned meals….the whole sha-bang.
I’ve felt so swamped lately…hopefully getting in some routine will get me back on track. Or at least make me feel like I’m back on track…doing it is another story. I have been sewing a tiny bit in between family visiting.
But right now I’m going to sit on my porch and watch my kids fight while I read these:
I really want all of those pumpkins on the cover. But I don’t want to make them….I want Target to make them for me. :)

Love your to-do list...I need to make me some of those. I've had the hardest time finding my rhythm since we moved. A written schedule would help.
I wish Target would make everything for me too!
I swear I am the last person in the world to recieve my issue of Country Living! Just wanted to say I love your blog. YOur pitures of the river this summer made me so homesick. I grew up in that area.
This post tickled my funny bone. Must be the watch the kids fight line. I haven't gotten my new Country Living yet. I love those pumpkins too. Any pumpkins really!!!
I haven't gotten that country living yet! Those pumpkins look scrumptious. I can't wait to see your new projects.
I like you. You remind me of me. Heh. :)
I want Target to make them for me too! and I want that fabric....and I NEED to get on a better schedule too....want want want huh?!! ;)
If Target sold those pumpkins, I would buy every single one. I love them! I do not, however, have the energy to make them myself. The best I can do is buy the magazine, cut out pictures of the pumpkins, and tape them around the house! :)
Maybe Target could make a version by Missoni! It might crash their servers again!
I saw that cover in the grocery today. I also immediately thought I would like Target to make those pumpkins for me. :)
You are cracking me up! Reading fall inspired magazines while watching the kids fight is genious :). I've been craving schedule too - I always feel this way in the fall though!
Ha-that's great a list is a good start. I'm not even organized enough to get one going yet ;).
I feel you when you said you want Target to make one. The approaching Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years, etc etc ... sorry I got tired to thinking about it...
I love a good do to list! I make them with checkboxes and love to click then off when done. That's a great feeling!
Target SHOULD be able to comply with your request. Ah....I love lists...
My husband just had back surgery, so ANY kind of schedule would be wonderful. Oh, did I mention that at age 57 I am also back in school ? My sewing machine dust has dust on it. It keeps hollering at me, but I keep ignoring it. :(
you are so funny!! Gotta love Target.... maybe they will have fabric covered pumpkins this year
wow a to do list like that would really help my life! also - LOVE the fabric pumpkin. Target sounds like a wonderful place.
Funny! I handed my Country Living to my husband and said " OK, this is what I want our pumpkins to look like this year.: and like Target, he just stared at me. Rude!
ha, I love it - sit on the porch with magazines & watch the kids fight. I do that all the time!
BTW = those fabrics looks gorgeous, can't wait to see the quilt!
I'm copying your list idea, with permanent tasks printed and space for transient ones/events to be written in. I hope you don't mind.
I wish I could find that at Target as well. Love me some Target.
LOVE your to do list! anyway you could make it printable? : )
I need to make one of those to-do's also. My problem is that I make the list and then don't stick to it.
Love, love your blog and always look forward to the creative things you're making.
I was just looking at the Living magazine yesterday and the potpies on the cover with the potato tops??? they look so delicious!! I must make them.
I feel it to! I just made myself a datebook because lately I have been triple-booked daily. Geez.
I love your weekly schedule - you've got a lot on it!!
Newest follower I am in love. I can't wait to get crafting on some of these projects. I found you from todays mama and the fall tree I just love it!
I love how you schedule out your household chores, cause I do the same! Only, mine is on an Excel spreadsheet -- it's the ONLY way it gets done :) I also use a spreadsheet for vacation packing -- save it on my desktop and add or delete things as necessary for wherever it is we are going (along with a column of things that need to be done to prep the house for vacation)...it reduces the amount of planning and thinking i have to do! *nerd alert!*
OK, fess up...did you MAKE the to do list or is it a template from somewhere, or is it from Outlook?
HELP! I need something THAT SIMPLE! :O
LOL! Thanks for the laugh...loved that last sentence. I just received my copy of Country Living also!
I agree with you about the pumpkins :)
where did you get the schedule sheets? that is just what i need.
Yes, if Target doesn't make it - I probably don't own it. When calling my mom yesterday, I told her I was just coming back from my vacation home - Target. I spend a lot of time there. :)
Love the to do list - will likely be coping it, so thanks for just putting it out there and not saying "Don't copy or I'll sue you" or something like that.
I love your To-Do list. I think I will have to make somethingvery close to that. Hope you don't mind. It sure would help keep me on the path. Thank you for sharing!
I want someone "To Do" all the things I put on my "To Do" list!
As usual, your blog posts and pictures of lovely fabric are a bright spot in my day! And you give me great ideas for future quilts too.
Thanks!
I second the comment about the to-do list as a printable. Love it!
