Today I’m part of the Sullivans Edge Ruler Blog Hop. The rulers have a nifty cutting edge that sharpen the rotary blade each time you cut…which I need…because rotary blades are expensive and I’ve been known to keep mine a long time. I have the 6.5" x 24" ruler and the 6.5" square ruler… I mainly use that big one up there.
As part of this blog hop I’m supposed to share a recipe with you…and since I made cookies yesterday for my UPS man so he likes me again…I’m sharing my plain old but love Snickerdoodle recipe:
We make this recipe weekly. My kids roll the balls in the cinnamon/sugar…which means there is cinnamon/sugar all over my floor…always. Which is why the bottoms of my slippers are sticky…always.
For more ruler info, giveaways, and better recipe’s than mine…visit the rest of the blog hoppers this week:

Snickerdoodles are some of our favorites too! Though I am not as diligent in making cookies weekly. :) I loved your helper in your sunday post!
I definitely need one of those rulers! I hang on to my rotary blades WAY too long. I think I need cookies now too!
MMM, yummy cookies. Could make them with the grandkids. And I love the idea of these rulers. What a good idea!
Cookies and rotary cutting with a sharpening side besides!

Just wanted to say I love your new Seville pattern!! Love all your patterns....you always inspire me :)
Great ruler and recipe!!!
Mmmm...those cookies look good!
The ruler looks pretty cool too ;)
I need something like this to Keep Me Sharp! Very awesome rulers. I could cut my cookies in half so they would dunk in the cup of milk! haha
Love the cookies, I'm on a diet so the best I could do is drool over the pictures. If the rulers live up to the hype I could afford to buy more fabric, instead of blades!
I have rulers in these sizes already, but ones that sharpen your blade as you cut?? Genius!
My mom's favorite cookie is the Snickerdoodle! I haven't made them in years but this posts makes me want to make a batch and ship her off a little fall surprise!! Be blessed...
The cookies look wonderful ! I would like to try one of those rulers as like everyone else I hate to change blades. Thanks for the giveaway !!!!
Thanks for the recipie will be making them this weekend for grandkids:) I also make cookie dough freeze it in balls and deliver to grandkids so they can bake them when they want them.
cool. I didn't know there was such a thing. I too use my blades forever.
I love Snickerdoodles..I am going to have to try your recipe..I really like this ruler..the printing on it is really clear and looks like it would be easy to read..I have a few where the colors are not as vivid..thanks for the giveaway...

Thanks for the snickerdoodle recipe--I will definitely be trying it! My snickerdoodles have never been successful...
I did not know there were rulers that sharpened your rotary cutter. I learn something new everyday!
I'm also horrible at changing my blade. Would love to try one of these rulers out.
What a fabulous giveaway!!!! First time to see that type of ruler, I like it!
Thanks January
Love Snickerdoodles and love my Sullivan ruler - could sure use another!!
I forgot to leave my email if you need it. Thanks again JanuaryT Jf-turner@hotmail.com
I'm not much of a baker, but those cookies are making my mouth water. My blade doesn't get changed until it leaves so many little attached threads that I spend more time clipping the threads than cutting the strips. Self sharpening would do the trick. Anne
I want to win - I would love the yardstick ruler for trimming after I quilt! Pick me please!!
Totally amazing concept in rulers! Great recipe too!
Everybody likes snickerdoodles, thanks for the recipe.
These rulers look great! Thanks for the chance to win!

Snickerdoodles are a hit here too. They seem to surprise people, I think because everyone expects chocolate chip. My DIL was so surprised the other day when I didn't have a ruler longer than 18". Guess I'd better get with the program. Thanks.
those cookies just made my mouth water - thanks for the recipe !
I wanted this ruler!! Thanks for the chance to win!

Ruler sounds like a great idea. I am always surprised by how much difference a new blade makes. I keep mine way too long!
Can you please tell me how many grams are in a stick of butter and if it is salted, or unsalted? Thanks.
Wow, I had no idea there was such a thing! Would love one!
Good idea to have a ruler that sharpens your blade. Hate having to buy new blades, would rather buy fabric!

The cookies look too yummy (I have to try them!), the fabric is sooo pretty, and the rulers: well, you aren't the only one to make their blades go forever!! I can't remember when I last changed my 50mm blade (a couple of years maybe?!!) My smaller blade got changed about a year ago, so you can see that one of those rulers and my rotary cutter would be a match made in heaven :-D
That's a great recipe, thanks for sharing. I love the sound of these rulers, thanks for the review.
