I have another block in the newest 100 Blocks magazine.
You want to know something awful though??? Ok not that awful…but funny. An editor emailed to ask me whether I wanted my real name or Cluck Cluck Sew on the cover….and I could not for the life of me remember sending them a block to be in the issue! I guess I sent it last summer….but I still couldn’t figure out what block they had until the issue actually came…then I remembered.
After I saw what block I had made I scoured through my gazillion photos and yep…there it was. Proof that I actually did make the block and my memory is awful…yet I can remember the phone number of my best friend in 5th grade with no problem...geesh.
The winners of the FQS giveaway were Karen P. and Cindy O. I emailed both of you lucky ducks.
I’m off to market tomorrow….and today I’m doing everything that I should have done in the past 2 months but kept putting off…not the best plan of attack.

To market with a new baby, how do you do it? Congrats on the publication
A very pretty block that is worth remembering. I share your memory lapses. I once met a couple and they seemed to know a bit about me, our house, family. Turns out we'd had them to dinner - and I thought I was meeting them for the first time. I'm sure you haven't had a lapse that bad!
Congrats! Great block! My maiden name is Harris. My grandparents were born in Kansas.
I love that block! Hope all goes well with market.
Cute block! Have fun at market and I can't wait to read all about it.
I'm with you on the memory thing- I had to look at my driver's license to remember my address the other day. They lady asking was very very amused.
I love this block, yours is the best and they should have it on the COVER!
And it's ok to be forgetful! Have fun at market, is it ok to take babies? just curious
Have a wonderful time at Market! I bought the Blocks magazine and love your block...you're a pretty creative gal!
That's a great block! So very summer like!
One time we were going out to dinner with my husband's family to celebrate his grandparents' wedding anniversary and his mother was wearing a lovely shawl. I told her how pretty I thought it was and she laughed! Apparently I had made it for her a few years earlier, but I had no recollection of making it!
Looking forward to reading all about quilt market from all you lucky people who get to go!

That's hilarious! I remember birthdays of people I haven't seen since I was 8 but can't remember what I said yesterday.
Cute block!
Something happens to your mind and memory when you have kids! I ran into an old friend the other day, we had quite a laugh about our minds after having children.
That's a beautiful block. If i had mine in a book I'd be so excited; I can't believe you forgot.

Have fun! Drink lots of water and be sure to tell Terry & Liz (Material Girls) that I would like a photo please! Thank you.
Too funny on the memory lapse. Cute block! Have fun at Market!
I love this block, and totally relate to the memory thing. I have customers come back, and I can not remember doing work for them before. Argh! Have a fantastic time at Market.
LOL! Can you blame it on market brain? That's a thing, right?
Love it! So cute!
Congrats!! Such a beautiful block!! Have a great week! xo Heather
Big congrats coming your way. You were pregnant maybe that's why you don't remember. :) Great block!
Oh Allison!
Congratulations on another publication! Well deserved, even if you can't remember it.
I always blame it on my children....that umbilical chord goes straight to your brain! Then if you breast feed, they take what they didn't take before!
I have a problem with my address and especially zip code. Someone typed above that they check their license for their address, you are not alone!
Isn't it funny what are brain remembers?! My brain hasn't been the same since having kids!!
The block is gorgeous and I'm happy because I won a copy in a giveaway so I get to make it :)
I love this block and the colors you used! I need to look for the magazine!

I can't remember my own cell phone number or my husbands but my mom asked for your childhood number yesterday and it just flew off my tongue! Odd!!
Thanks so much for the great giveaway! I received the fabrics today already!!! yay!
I'm glad I'm not the only one with that type of memory... Congrats!
Adorei seu blog.
Adoro patchwork, mas ainda não sei fazer. Pretendo aprender, enquanto isso, vou admirando projetos lindos apresentados em blogs como o seu.
Parabéns!
it's a lovely block, Allison! even if you didn't remember it. :P
It was SO great to meet you at market. Hope your trip there was a success!
xoxo
LOL that sounds like something I would do (if i had that level of success.... the only thing of mine that goes into magazines is paperclips to mark recipes I want to try, haha!)
Just so long as you remember to put pants on in the morning, you're doing okay!
Sweet Block!!!!
This is a cute block. Congratulations on making the magazine!
I would love to send a block to them. Can you direct me? I am on their web site but unsure just where I need to go.
Thanks Allison. :o) hugs, Trish
