I’m back from market, unpacked, and enjoying having nothing to do…besides the normal stuff.
I didn’t dare take my big camera…so I didn’t take any pictures (sorry)!
The highlight this year was having my husband there. He did most of the set up/take down and took good care of the booth while I was out with the baby and walked around…I’m a lucky girl.
I came home with a lovely fat quarter bundle I’ve had my eye on…
and added my favorite brochures and cards to my sewing room wall.
Market is an adventure, and overwhelming, and tiring…but in a good way. I leave needing a break from all things fabric/sewing/quilting…but not too long a break. :)

Sounds like you had a really good time! Your booth looks lovely. I hope you networked your butt off and made everyone fall in love with your patterns. Mr. Cluck Cluck Sew seems like a sweetie!
Yes, it's a lovely booth and I really like the quilt.
Yay husbands! And quilts :-) It's good to have both.
You have a good husband :)
I can see your husband in your boys!
Can't wait to see what you make with that yummy stack :)
Sounds pretty perfect Allison and I love Seaside too, can't wait to get some!
Great husband! Love getting your post, can't wait for more.
Husbands are the best for set up! Take down, just a mad frenzy so you can get home and put your feet up. I'm sure you did well and can't wait to see what you make next.
Husbands of quilty women have special patience and seem like the most supportive men. Glad he was there to help you . Cute picture!
AAHHH!!! The ladies at the shop bought me that same FQ bundle. I had requested it, and they came through. I've been drooling over it since Oct./Nov. 2011 and eagerly awaiting it's release.
If I could marry fabric...I would marry that Seaside bundle! HA!
What a great hubby you have! And cute booth!

How fun! Was it the first time for your husband? Isn't it fun when they get involved in what we do? After all these years of quilting, my husband now has gotten a great eye for color, and I love when he participates on my choices for my work...
I'll bet all of the women loved talking to Jay! ;) I'm sure it's nice having him around to help out. I drug David to a hair show once (just after we were married) and he didn't enjoy himself very much! LOL! But, I've definitely paid him back with all of the gun shows and shooting matches I've attended!
Please don't take too long of break, I love seeing all of your great creations!
How awesome to have your husband with you! It sure makes for great team work doesn't it? :0) And what fun fabric. :0) Hoping you have a nice time of rest. :0)
hugs. Trish ps. I hand quilted spin cycle. :0)
Seeing your Spin Cycle quilt hanging in your booth makes me so happy I bought the pattern. I have 7 blocks finished and hope to make several more this weekend. Such a fun and cute pattern!
This is great! Not only do you have the benefit of a supportive, great husband, you have bragging rights.
"That's right ladies, he is mine, all mine!"
hahaha
The feather brochure! Please tell me who it is by. It would be perfect for my son! Goodsonfl@gmail.com
Sounds like a perfect day. That quilt is to die for! I love it. I love that you have a supportive hubby to go along! That card board you have is so amazing..I love the wire and clothespins.
I just wanted to thank you! I am a beginner quilter and I love all your tutorials and helpful hints! Your quilts are such an inspiration!
