Pick, press, stack, and cut

IMG_3743

The fabrics are picked out, pressed well, and are being cut…slowly.

They’ve been hanging there for days waiting for some attention…today they might actually get some.

The scale of the prints in these fabrics are perfect…they were meant for a quilt.

Time to get off this computer and cut!

LOVE the fabric choices! What is the line for the first two (green and red) on the top of the stack in the first picture? I'm always looking for great smaller prints for doll clothing! I think I love your entire stack of fabric there but those two in particular have caught my eye! ~Robin~

I love the fabric choices too. Sometimes I see these beautiful fabrics and it's almost enough to get me to start quilting...almost.

Gorgeous! I had all of those prints in scrapbook paper form and loved working with them. Now I NEED to buy the fabric counterparts! Thanks for sharing!

The top two fabrics look like Vintage Modern to me...

I love your fabric combinations! You have inspired me to be a little braver with my choices, looking for common treads rather than using coordinated fabrics. I can't wait to see what this will be!

I know what you mean about getting of the computer, but we might miss something, a new and exciting pattern or recipe or, or , or. I really should go and start sewing my project sitting on the table. :)), Thanks for having such a cool place to visit.

What gorgeous fabrics! I've been working for weeks putting all of my fabrics on the comic book backer boards to organize my stash! It has turned into a huge project, 12 years of hoarding, I mean collecting fabric! Gave a bunch away to my sister this week, she wants to take up quilting! :) Can't wait to finish organizing so I can get back to sewing & quilting. Those fabrics are going to make a wonderful quilt!

Did you know that you were mentioned in an article in the May/June issue of "Where Women Create" Magazine? The article is a feature for Riley Blake Designs and she suggests 25 inspirational blogs... and there you are, third from the top:)
