I made some fabric buckets the other night using Ashley’s great tutorial. They are a great solution for the Hot Wheels cars in every cranny of my house.
They took me about a half hour to make, and I made one with interfacing and one without…I like the interfaced one better.
Thanks for all the Christmas Lane Quilt love…to answer questions…no I didn’t use a pattern, yes I will probably make a pattern (it will be awhile though), and yes her finger is feeling better (and thanks for asking!).

love the blue dottie, remind me with ikat fabric
These are fabulous bags! Her tutorial is awesome and did you see the large bucket she made that holds her yarn? love it!
I've been wondering how those buckets work up! Yours look great. I would have skipped the interfacing, so thank's for the tip.
Nice. And very useful for your kids. Nice fabrics.
Very nice! I had seen her tutorial and not a minute before I looked at your blog was thinking I should make one. And now I know what it could be used for - I think both my kids need a couple! Thank you for sharing how you used them. It inspired me. :)
My kids would love these to hold their tinkles. They would also look nice and I could wash them.
Something else to add to my to do list : ) Thanks cluck cluck.
Yeah I wish I had double interfaced mine (I used quilting cottons and one layer of interfacing) because they are a bit floppy when empty (stand up nice when full though!)
This is such a great idea for my grandson's cars, not to mention crayons and other small toys. Thank you. Yours look wonderful. I need some of that fabric.
Oh I am so glad to hear I am not the only one with hot wheels cars all over. I find them in my purse, mixed in with the towels in the bathroon & have even found them in the kitchen inside of baking pans. What a great idea to whip us some fabric baskets to keep them. Love the fabric you used.
Wonderful idea, thank you.
