The winner of the E-Book is:
and yes….I do love quilting. :) I emailed you!
I had to make an emergency run to buy fabric scissors after my last ones met my 5 year old and some wire (which is why I buy cheap scissors!). Aqua scissors are much more fun anyways.

I have those scissors too. I can't resist aqua.
I share the same sad story. Thru the years I've warned my children not to take Mom's scissors. Does it always work? Nope, but I think it has deterred them a little.
Congratulations to the winner and your aqua scissors are just perfect. I hide my high quality ones up high away from the grand babes.
I had to hide my scissors since my boys would use them for duck tape for hockey.
Yup, been there done that. Don't have kiddies, but my dh never did that again when I told him the cost to replace. (He didn't use the aqua scissors, he used the silver ones.)
We were threatened with pain of death if we ever touched mum's sewing or haircutting scissors… But, you know, he's five. Hard to get too mad. :-)
I write in permanent marker on the handles of all my scissors (sewing, paper, multi, kitchen…) and threaten pain of death. My nephew is two so it's only a matter of time before they're wire-cutters. :-)
I'm dreading the day my little one figures out how to use scissors. Luckily he's only 18months, so no issues yet :)
Love the aqua scissors! Mine are all the same color so I have a hard time remembering which are which....I think I'm giving myself a very good excuse for why I should buy a pretty pair! :)
I won! I won! I am so excited!! Can't wait to get the book!! That's a great idea to write on your scissors what they are for. I will definitely be doing that!!
i found a little funny some time ago that shows a pair of scissors with a padlock through the handles. no one would get those open, except the one who has the key...well hidden in a fabric collection!
My family actually bought me a padlock for my fabric scissors! I think they meant it as a joke about Mums obsessive behavior over her precious scissors..........
I hide my nicest scissors; mostly from my husband who will merrily try to co-opt them as part of his painting kit if given half the chance. My Mum drilled it into us never to cut paper with the good scissors and I still have the pair she gave me for my first sewing basket (and they're still sharp!)
Lol, I HAD a pair very much like those and a a friend decided to use them for household use....luckily I have several
I had a pair of scissors meet its match with a couple of boys and some matchbox cars. It was probably 8 years ago and yet I still have the scissors. They don't work well but I haven't been able to throw them away.
I just bought a really nice set of 3 at Costco for $10.00..they cut the fabric like your cutting into butter..so nice! Scotch brand, titanium ..lifetime warranty
Love the color of your scissors! I am a new follower of your blog and had great fun going through your latest posts!

LOL ... yes - I totally get it. Brings back memories! And the aqua rocks!
So funny! I just nabbed the extra pair of scissors that were ordered with our school books but not needed. Cheap scissors for me too!
I use different color handles for different situations. My DH just could not remember the colors so he recently found some with Polk-a-dots. He bought 6 pair and put in all the drawers to use.
These are looking mind blowing thank you very very much for the sharing and just keep up the good work.
