Dear Stella sent me this summery bundle last month and I've been waiting for some extra time when my floor stays clean and my kid’s don’t need to eat so I can cut it up. Ha.
Instead I’ll give you a close-up pretty picture of the fabric in the one cleared corner of my dining table, aka craft central.
It’s a good thing we have people over now and then or craft central would never get cleaned.
Back to fabric…this fabric is begging to be made into a summer picnic quilt or throw.
Those little garden tools and veggies make me want to dig in the dirt.
If you want to hear some quilt talk I’ll be on American Patchwork and Quilting Radio tomorrow with Pat Sloan.
It will air Monday the 18th at 1 PM Pacific, 3 PM Central, 4 PM Eastern.

The only time my dining room table gets cleared off is when I invite people over too! Unless they are coming to sew or quilt, then it just gets straightened! I love that fabric!
It makes me feel so much better to hear I'm not the only one whose dining room table to covered in various craft projects! The only time it gets cleaned off is when company is coming. Can't wait to see what you do with that beautiful fabric! Love Dear Stella!
O wow that's awesome! I'm totally tuning in!!!! And I agree. That fabric screams picnic/summer/not awful winter. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
That's exciting. I'm looking forward to it. You and Amy on the same show???
Congrats!! I just came from Amy's blog where I read the wonderful news of her being on the show, as well! Have fun!!
Really cute fabric!
Now to me even the wide shot of your table looks tidy so perhaps that tells you all you need to know about my house! Love the fabric too, especially the one with little deck chairs, it should definitely be a BBQ quilt.
Big smile over here. So likeable.
Coordinates with my friend saying that the desk is not always clean because there's no need to take a photo of it and blog it. :)
Ha, ha - I also call our Dining Room table the Craft Table. Why would we need to eat there when we have a coffee table in front of the t.v.? And can't wait to see what you do with all of that gorgeous, summery fabric!
Wonderful radio presentation, Allison! We love your bright and fun patterns.
Thanks for the fun radio interview. You inspire us so much. Love your fabric choices, tips, tutorials, and patterns. Thanks again!

I think we could have a very large club made up of people who sew at the dining room table! You could be our president, with all of the inspiration that you supply at your table.
Such a fun radio program - you are a natural! Your husband names all your patterns? sweet!
You and Amy did a great job on the radio program! I love your blog and your patterns!:)
I listened to your interview! Great job! It's funny because I always thought to myself that "cluck, cluck" was the sound of the sewing machine! Well, at least it was the sound of my old machine when I started quilting. Or maybe it was "ka-thunk, ka-thunk" ;)
I listened as well! I just came across the radio podcast yesterday and loved it! You were awesome, I just had to pop by :).
What a fabulous show to listen to! :o)
