Today I’m participating in the book tour for this cute book:
This book is written by my friend Kristyne. She must have known I needed it too, because while I love the look and thought of embroidery…I stink at it.
There is a step by step stitch guide for beginners like myself:
and cute cute projects like this one I’m gearing up to make for Sophie’s room:
It will be a perfect take-a-long project and a good way to use up all these beautiful threads sitting in my drawer!
The book is full of do-able designs, I think even my 6 year old would be able to learn some basic stitches with me and make these cute designs. There are designs for each letter of the alphabet.

This book does look like the perfect to use if you are a beginner. With such clear directions everyone is sure to be able to embroider. I am a self taught embroiderer since 1970 and I would love to have this book, love the new designs.

I've been following your blog for a few years now and love it. I've made a few things on it. A sprocket pillow being the latest.
I literally always have some embroidery on the go. I embroider (that is hand embroider) my kid's art for wallhangings, pillowcases, placemats and quilts. They make the best patterns of all. Well, I do love kid's art. Haven't ever commented but thought I would do today. Thanks for all your ideas. How are the rabbits?
