Insta-Friday (aka…I did nothing this week)

Img002_1200x1200

I’m rockin’ this summer do-nothing schedule of mine…that’s what summer’s for right?  Uh-huh.  I visited Home Depot and took home a handful of paint chips for an art project (that we didn’t do…yet).

I did a little Shop-hopping with a friend (hi Lauren!)…and bought just a few things.  Isn’t that display  cute?  This is Esther’s Fabrics on Bainbridge Island, WA.

I stayed up way too late and basted and quilted this top I made almost exactly one year ago.

Robot Quilt

This little girl had her one year shots today (yes, 4 months late).   I procrastinated that appointment for as long as possible…ouch!

While organizing the tubs of crap in the basement I found this quilt.  It was my second or third quilt, before I knew that free motion quilting was even possible on my own machine, and before I took pictures of my quilts.

Have a great weekend!

Bainbridge Island- do you know Teresa who has a blog called Blooming on Bainbridge? I've heard her mention Esther's before. Wish I lived closer to visit! Love your quilt and love your little one's belly jelly- too adorable!:) Have a great weekend!

I'll have to drive up that way for a quilt shop tour! Love your little jelly belly girl! They are so un-aware and just living at that age...it's so sweet! Enjoy!

Looks like so much fun! We have 3 weeks until school finished here and I am not looking forward to chilled mornings, but not the lack of time to sew!

Lovely and thanks for sharing about Esther's shop. We are planning a trip over to Kitsap County in a few weeks and this gives me a reason to head over that way!

LOVE the belly! Was wondering if you know the manufacturer or line of the red/white chevron-y type fabric you got. And also the green with white swirlys sitting directly on top of the red/white fabric. Super cute prints!

Beth I couldn't find your email so hopefully you see this! I don't have any info on that red/white chevron fabric....I think I remember it being Red Rooster...but I don't have enough on the selvage to see for sure! Sorry!
