Just popping in to tell you about a Wallflowers Quilt Design contest that starts today….it’s a collaboration with Windham Fabrics, Threadbias, Pink Castle Fabrics, and Stash Books.

The Wallflowers Quilt Design Contest is a chance to design a quilt using Wallflowers collection using the Threadbias Quilt Design Tool. The winning design will receive enough Wallflowers yardage to make their winning quilt designs (& more)!

How to enter: Become a Threadbias member (membership is free) and follow the directions to sign up. Join the Wallflowers Quilt Design Contest Group and use the Quilt Design Tool to design and enter a quilt design.

Design Rules: Anything goes, as long as you've designed your quilt top with the Wallflowers fabric and the accompanying Windham Fabrics Solids.  The quilt dimensions can’t exceed 60"x75" (lap-size). There is one quilt design entry per person.

Timeframe: The contest starts today, June 17th. Enter your design anytime until July 7. Then, a community vote will open and run from July 8 to July 12. Allison Harris, designer of Wallflowers, will choose a grand prize winner from the top 5 community-voted picks on July 13. The remaining four will be runners-up!

Winners: There will be five winners picked by a community vote on Threadbias. Fabric designer Allison Harris will select one of the 5 picks to be the grand prize winner, the other four will be runners-up.

Prizes:  The grand prize winner will receive enough Wallflowers yardage to make their winning quilt design, a signed, hard copy of Allison Harris' Growing Up Modern from Stash Books, & a $25 gift certificate for Pink Castle Fabrics. Runners-up will each receive an e-book version of Growing Up Modern from Stash Books, & a $15 gift certificate for Pink Castle Fabrics.

Good luck!

Hi Allison, This sounds like a great contest to me! If I submit a design, do I remain as the copyright owner of the design and still have rights to publish it later, or am I giving these rights away to someone else? Thanks, Michelle M. Bailey
