I made this quilt top a year ago and with some quick quilting and binding it’s ready for use! It’s the third or fourth quilt I’ve made with my Road Trip Tutorial.
The robot fabrics are by my friend Ariel. I love keeping little quilts like this for donating or gifting.
Whales on the back don’t really go with robots on the front….but no little boy on the planet will care.
I got the urge to make a lonestar quilt after seeing them on instagram. But after making one block…this might be a mini-quilt instead. :)
After the kids go to bed I bring Pebbles in to get cool while I sew. She’s good (quiet) company after a busy, noisy day!
If you haven’t found a RSS Reader yet to replace Google Reader…I signed up for The Old Reader and I love it…the interface is almost exactly like the Google Reader…except I don’t think it’s available for mobile devices yet. I tried them all, and it was my fav…and I read blogs on my computer so it works for me!
And…I’m blogging my first quilt over at AnneMarie’s blog today!
