When I have nothing new to show you…I show you fabric! I bought some Denyse Schmidt prints and basics at a local shop…those jewel tones just sucked me in. Most of that top stack is from the line Florence (and a little Chicopee thrown in)…you can find bundles of it here, or here.
I’m finally going to make my kids new sturdy trick or treat bags. Their old ones are too small and flimsy…so this time I’m going to make quilted bags with one handle for easy filling.
I re-painted my Gray dresser Gray this week. :) The old gray was too taupe…and bugged me every time I walked in my room. I used Annie Sloan chalk paint in Paris Gray this time. You can see the before picture(s) here…it was scratched to death when I got it.
Let’s hope for a nice lazy weekend so I can finally sit down at my lonely sewing machine!
