A little holly jolly

Pretty Christmas Quilt scraps

Last week I got a jump start on Christmas and started a new quilt (Bizzy kid pattern) This one will be a kid sized couch quilt.

The start of a bizzy kid Christmas quilt

Most of these fabrics are the Cherry Christmas line by Aneela from summer of 2012…which means these have been sitting on my shelf for a bit.  They are my favorite holiday prints ever.  Cute and delicate and not too in-your-face Christmas.

I almost have this one finished…it’s 90% quilted and waiting for me to git-r-done.

Christmas Bizzy Kid Top, Cluck Cluck Sew

And by the way…I’m thankful for all of you, and that you take time out of your busy days to visit this space…THANK YOU!!!   OK enough with my cheesiness…I’ve got 10% of a quilt to finish quilting before my "helpers" wake up!  ;)

Love that Christmas line - the aqua color reminds me of frost and chill and playing outside in the snow! Great colors!

One of my fav Christmas lines too. I've started a Christmas quilt with this fabric, simple patchwork, 2" squares. boy, did I underestimate how much work that would be.

I wouldn't say that summer 2012 is a long time on the shelf, lol! But I love the quilt so far. I love that mix of pieced blocks. Can't wait to see it finished! :D

Oh that's pretty! I love turquoise red and green for Christmas, it's just that little bit fresher than pure red and green. Moda did a Winter Wonderland line in similar colours a few years back and each year the star quilt I made from it comes to the top of the quilt pile again!
