Tidbits

You ready for Christmas yet?  I’ve got to do all my present wrapping tonight and then I’m ready to enjoy family time!

(Sprocket Pillow is above…tutorial here)

Oh and I have a little doll quilt to sew together.

I’ve bought some beautiful fabric lately…lots of solids and some Botanics from Pink Chalk Fabrics.

Pat Bravo sent me these lovelies…her newest line Rapture is out now and it is beeeeeautiful.  Sophie’s going to get a big girl bed quilt out of these.

Did you see Westwood Acres has a new website??  Amanda is the queen of perfect bundles.

These 108” wide fabrics have made my life complete.  Piecing a backing is the easiest thing ever and I still kind of hate it.  Also yay for being printed in the USA!

The little people in the house are asleep so I better get wrapping!

I think I'm mostly there with the wrapping - now it's the cleaning and baking juggernaut that needs to grind into action. And I'm almost finished making the Christmas presents - just a few stitches on a sock and some personalised mini bean bags to do and we'll be all there (I hope)

Your fabrics are beautiful, especially Sophie's big girl quilt - I've got my fingers crossed for a little more sewing next year including the quilt which in an ideal world with 36 hours in each day would have been Elma's Christmas present - I'm aiming at Easter now!

I love wide backs! So much easier to load on the longarm. I really like Rapture. Have a happy Christmas!

Checked out your sprocket pillow tute and it doesn't look too difficult! I predict a few family and friends will be receiving these for gifts in their future. I love the reading pillow idea from your book, by the way. Lots of cute ideas....it's on my wish list!

Aww, a big girl quilt! All the blog babies are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that my daughter was pushing a doll stroller around with the head of a Lego person in her mouth (weird kid) and now she's graduating from high school!! I'm working on her graduation quilt...
