Keeping up

IMG_4221

Hey there!  I snapped out of my sewing-coma just long enough to pick the threads off my clothes and write a blog post!  Quilt market is about a month away and as I do every year….I wait until a month before to get everything done.  It’s kookoo and I love it.

My second fabric line with Windham Fabrics will be showing at market, and I have new patterns, tutorials, and lots of this and that to share in this space.

In case you need a project my Button Up pattern is the pattern of the month at the Fat Quarter Shop (and on sale)!

And shipping is free on orders over $40 through Friday…I already did some severe wallet damage.

Some of my favorite prints from Color me Happy, April Showers, and a few basics.  Did I mention I really really love fabric?  :)  Now back to my sewing-coma I go!

I'm hoping you have a new pattern that can be made full/queen size.... want to make the boy a quilt for his future bed (September) and cannot seem to find something already made that I like.

So pretty! Can't wait to see your new line of fabric & patterns. How do you pick solids online? Do you buy the coordinating solids to the lines you are purchasing? I always end up with colors that look far different in person than they did on my computer screen. :)

Jocelyn I have a color card for Bella Solids and Kona Solids...it's a life saver because fabrics on the screen never look the same! Ruth that tool is a Kwik Klip...it helps save your fingers during basting and I love it! I bought it at a quilt shop but I've seen them on amazon. :)

What is the pattern on the top pic? It's so cute! Is that something you're developing? I bought a lovely jelly roll at my local quilt shop, and I need an easy pattern -- I had a baby three months ago and have very few baby-free moments, so I need something quick but cute. I really miss sewing!
