The quilt you made for your sister in law...loved it..thanks for the directions. I made a baby quilt for my new granddaughter but am stuck on how to quilt...did you free motion it...what color threads..multicolor ? It turned out so beautiful I am scared to quilt it. Do you have. As always, I love this quilt. I was thinking about doing something kind of similar to this for my son's quilt (except with more of a repeating pattern like your orange quilt - but not with white). I would like to add sashing in between the blocks, like you did here. Sashing seems a little confusing to me - like how do I make sure I line up both the horizontal blocks and the vertical blocks.

I&#39;m so glad you posted this! I am fairly new to quilting and would like to make matching quilts in these very colors for my two youngest boys that share a bedroom. Their carpet is a aqua, brown, tan berber and the walls are tan. I was really hoping to find a quilt tonight in these colors and I did! <br /><br />Thanks again for your beautiful blog!

I love this quilt! I want to try my hand at one, and I&#39;m a complete newbie, so I have kind of a dumb question. :) Do you plan out your blocks, like where each color will be first? Or do you just start putting colors together into blocks and then arrange them once they&#39;re all done? Does that make sense? :)

I love the quilt and recognize some of those fabrics. Yes, I shop there too. ;) I use my 1/4&quot; foot almost everytime I sew. I have only had it about a year and was sooo worth the 10.00 bucks. <br /><br />Beautiful job!

what a great gift! It looks like you stippled the quilt-right? I&#39;m trying to get some confidence to try it out again. My stippling adventure looked great on the quilt top I worked on until I turned it over and the tension was all off. It&#39;s hard for me to want to try my hand at it again. Maybe my machine&#39;s not up for the challenge...
